A bump on the head sends Hank Martin, 1905 auto mechanic, to Arthurian England, 528 A.D., where he is befriended by Sir Sagramore le Desirous and gains power by judicious use of technology. He and Alisande, the King's niece, fall in love at first sight, which draws unwelcome attention from her fiancée Sir Lancelot; but worse trouble befalls when Hank meddles in the kingdom's politics.

Before you choose
Time travel drives much of the story.
A borderline case: the temporal interpretation remains disputed. The mechanism is classified as Unknown.
Told in 1912 to Lord Pendragon at Camelot's ruins, the story follows the mechanic Hank Martin, knocked out in a storm, who wakes in Camelot in 528. Almost the whole film is his stay there: dubbed Sir Boss, he wins standing through modern know-how, falls for the king's niece Alisande and meddles in the kingdom's politics, until he is shot and returns to 1912 to meet her lookalike. The displacement drives the story, like Black Knight or The Visitors. It stays at 7 because it is a single fish-out-of-water trip with no temporal mechanics or lasting consequences, and the knock-out framing leaves it possibly a dream.
A head injury initiates the medieval adventure, but the film's dream framing makes literal displacement uncertain; retain for boundary review.

Aggregate source ratings
Titan combines the archive’s quality, audience and legacy base with the significance of time travel. It is an index, not a score out of 100, and is distinct from the FMV archive’s scoring model.
Titan = base × [0.20 + 0.80 × (time-travel score ÷ 10)²]
This film: 67.36 base × 59.2% weighting.
Partial inputs flag incomplete source metadata. Provisional weighting flags a time-travel assessment that remains uncertain; it receives no additional confidence penalty.
