A married workaholic, Michael Newman doesn't have time for his wife and children, not if he's to impress his ungrateful boss and earn a well-deserved promotion. So when he meets Morty, a loopy sales clerk, he gets the answer to his prayers: a magical remote that allows him to bypass life's little distractions with increasingly hysterical results.

Before you choose

What kind of time-travel story is this?

Time travel drives much of the story.

Meets the archive’s time-travel criteria. The mechanism is classified as Enchanted.

Why the archive makes this assessment (spoilers)

Michael's remote repeatedly skips and manipulates his lifetime, with the lost years becoming the central consequence.

A magical remote controls and fast-forwards Michael’s life; the final return is part of its supernatural lesson, not a repeatedly resetting-day premise.

How Titan works

Titan combines the archive’s quality, audience and legacy base with the significance of time travel. It is an index, not a score out of 100, and is distinct from the FMV archive’s scoring model.

Titan = base × [0.20 + 0.80 × (time-travel score ÷ 10)²]

This film: 110.88 base × 71.2% weighting.

Partial inputs flag incomplete source metadata. Provisional weighting flags a time-travel assessment that remains uncertain; it receives no additional confidence penalty.
