Before you choose
Time travel drives much of the story.
A borderline case: the temporal interpretation remains disputed. The mechanism is classified as Unknown.
Temporal structure drives the whole film. Nemo was born remembering the future, so the 118-year-old narrator in 2092 recalls every life that could follow his choice at the station as a nine-year-old, told out of order and revisited like replayed timelines. Arrow-of-time and entropy ideas recur throughout, and at his death time runs backward on screen. No one physically travels, and the film frames the lives as a child's foreseen or imagined possibilities, so it stops short of 9–10.
Possible futures, apparent foreknowledge, and cosmic time reversal coexist with an explicit imagination framing; evidence supports ambiguity rather than a definitive literal-travel classification.

Aggregate source ratings
Titan combines the archive’s quality, audience and legacy base with the significance of time travel. It is an index, not a score out of 100, and is distinct from the FMV archive’s scoring model.
Titan = base × [0.20 + 0.80 × (time-travel score ÷ 10)²]
This film: 117.97 base × 71.2% weighting.
Partial inputs flag incomplete source metadata. Provisional weighting flags a time-travel assessment that remains uncertain; it receives no additional confidence penalty.
