Before you choose
Time travel drives much of the story.
A borderline case: the temporal interpretation remains disputed. The mechanism is classified as Unknown.
In 2044, where an AI-run society treats emotion as a threat, Gabrielle submits to a DNA purification that immerses her in her past lives so their traumas can be erased. The whole film is built from those immersions, intercutting her 1910 Paris life, ending in the Great Flood, and her 2014 Los Angeles life, with Louis returning in every era, the same dread of catastrophe carried across lives, and glitches as the periods bleed into each other. The machine-mediated reliving of other eras shapes the entire narrative, which lifts it well above its provisional 5. It stops short of Mr. Nobody's 8 because these are past incarnations relived from within rather than travel or the same life revisited, and nothing in the past can be changed.
A purification procedure brings memories of past incarnations. The distributor describes recollection rather than intervention or travel; whether this exceeds reincarnation and memory alone remains uncertain.

Aggregate source ratings
Titan combines the archive’s quality, audience and legacy base with the significance of time travel. It is an index, not a score out of 100, and is distinct from the FMV archive’s scoring model.
Titan = base × [0.20 + 0.80 × (time-travel score ÷ 10)²]
This film: 84.49 base × 59.2% weighting.
Partial inputs flag incomplete source metadata. Provisional weighting flags a time-travel assessment that remains uncertain; it receives no additional confidence penalty.
