What kind of time-travel story is this?
Time travel supports the story or a substantial sequence.
A borderline case: the temporal interpretation remains disputed. The mechanism is classified as Unknown.
Why the archive makes this assessment (spoilers)
The witch Lyranna opens a portal so Dar's half-brother Arklon can steal a neutron detonator from present-day Los Angeles, and Dar follows; a long middle stretch is sword-and-sorcery characters loose in 1991 LA before the story returns home. Despite the title, sources describe the portal as trans-dimensional and LA as an alternate world rather than Dar's future, so the temporal content is the time-travel framing and the pre-modern culture clash rather than movement through time. The crossing is substantial but not established as temporal, so the score drops from 5 to 3.
Promoted as time travel, but the synopsis describes passage from a fantasy world to Earth; whether this is temporal displacement or only interdimensional travel remains uncertain.

How Titan works
Titan combines the archive’s quality, audience and legacy base with the significance of time travel. It is an index, not a score out of 100, and is distinct from the FMV archive’s scoring model.
Titan = base × [0.20 + 0.80 × (time-travel score ÷ 10)²]
This film: 63.43 base × 27.2% weighting.
Partial inputs flag incomplete source metadata. Provisional weighting flags a time-travel assessment that remains uncertain; it receives no additional confidence penalty.
