What kind of time-travel story is this?
Time travel is an important premise, with limited sustained exploration.
Meets the archive’s time-travel criteria. The mechanism is classified as Cosmic.
Why the archive makes this assessment (spoilers)
Confirmed 6/10: Rip Van Winkle Jr. arrives from 1787 at organic farmer Sarah's present-day farm, and their romance develops around his out-of-time origin. The displacement drives the premise, but the film is mostly a present-day family romance.
Rip’s displacement from 1787 is explained through a lightning-induced wormhole at a mineral-rich cave.

How Titan works
Titan combines the archive’s quality, audience and legacy base with the significance of time travel. It is an index, not a score out of 100, and is distinct from the FMV archive’s scoring model.
Titan = base × [0.20 + 0.80 × (time-travel score ÷ 10)²]
This film: 41.51 base × 48.8% weighting.
Partial inputs flag incomplete source metadata. Provisional weighting flags a time-travel assessment that remains uncertain; it receives no additional confidence penalty.
